
BIO 26 Talk #3 – speculations on the future of data
What about data – how is it impacitng our lives and how it will alter our future?
Our CEO, Sara Božanić, will be a guest speaker at BIO 26 Talks, where she will be joining a panel addressing several key issues surrounding data, its use and misuse today and in the future.
Together with experts Kim Albrecht, Livia Nolasco-Rozsas and Vladan Joler, Sara Božanić will discuss the future possibilities and alternative perspectives to the indispensable presence of algorithms and data in our lives. How artists, designers and writers, in close collaboration with scientists, are speculating and offering critical insights and guidance on how to deal with, and think of data?
The talk will take place in Podhod Ajdovščina, Ljubljana, 17 January, from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
BIO – The Biennial of Design in Ljubljana is an international platform for new approaches in design organised by the Museum of Architecture and Design (MAO). BIO was founded in 1963, making it the first design biennial in Europe. BIO 26| Talks is a series of dynamic roundtable conversations with invited guests from fields as diverse as science, philosophy, law, journalism, politics, art and design to explore the complexity of the biennial’s theme and exhibition. Each talk is divided into two sessions with a Q&A at the end and is moderated by Austrian design curator and cultural producer Thomes Geisler.
