Disco School and SpeculativeEdu received a special mention at the Exhibition of Croatian design 2122

January 2023 saw the latest edition of the biennial exhibition of Croatian design, the twelfth in a row since 1999.

This year’s exhibition was marked by the highest number of entries (a total of 573 works were submitted) and the highest number of selected works, so it showcased a total of 324 the best professional and student design work of the last two years. The Selection Committee, composed of Robert Čanak, Dario Dević, Nataša Negovanović, Luka Perić, Cvetka Požar, Zlatka Salopek Radić and Juraj Zigman, selected 258 professional and 66 student entries.

It is with great honour that we get to announce that our team received two special mentions of the jury in the conceptual/initiative/critical design category for the projects SpeculativeEdu and Disco School.

The Exhibition of Croatian Design is the central and most important professional design event in Croatia, bringing together the highest quality design works created over a two-year period in all areas of design, including visual communications and graphic design, industrial/production design, interaction design and digital media, packaging design, fashion and clothing design, integrated project/product design, spatial and graphic intervention systems, and critical or conceptual design

The exhibition was held at Lauba – House for People and Art, after 10 years of collaboration with the Museum of Arts and Crafts, which is in the process of restoration due to damage caused by the earthquake. The online version of the exhibition can be viewed here.
