Visible, Safe, Resilient: Rethinking Jewish Youth Work Across Europe
The project aims to help Jewish and other minority youth organisations adapt structurally to sustained societal pressures by developing, piloting and embedding a transferable Resilient Youth Work Framework across four European contexts.
The Institute for Transmedia Design (ITD) is one of four partners in Visible, Safe, Resilient: Rethinking Jewish Youth Work (ViSaRe), an Erasmus+ project bringing together organisations from Germany (J-ArtEck Youth Education Center NGO), Latvia (Migdal NGO), Slovenia (ITD) and Estonia (Estonian School of Citizens Journalism NGO).
Running from September 2026 to November 2027, the project aims to strengthen safety, inclusion and resilience in Jewish and minority youth work. Through international collaboration, partners will explore challenges such as antisemitism, discrimination, digital harassment and barriers to participation.
ITD will contribute its expertise in digital communication and media, with a particular focus on responsible online visibility, digital resilience and media literacy. As part of the project, ITD is expected to lead a Digital & Communication Lab in Slovenia in May 2027.
Together, the partners will develop and test practical guidelines, resources and tools to help youth organisations create safer environments while encouraging young people to remain visible, connected and actively involved in their communities.

ViSaRE is funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union.
