Exploring Entrepreneurship as a Learning Method

Dillon Razlog from ITD took part in the Erasmus+ training course The Entrepreneurial Process as a Learning Method, exploring entrepreneurship as a practical approach to learning. Held in Struga, North Macedonia, on the shores of Lake Ohrid, on the 23rd–29th of August 2026.

The course explored how entrepreneurial thinking can help young people and educators develop skills such as problem-solving, teamwork, creativity, adaptability and initiative. Through practical challenges, collaboration and reflection, participants focused on learning by doing and turning ideas into action. Beyond the formal sessions, the Erasmus+ training created space for international exchange and collaboration. Participants shared experiences from their own countries and professional contexts, providing an opportunity to compare approaches to education, youth work and non-formal learning.

For ITD, these international encounters are an important part of continuing to explore how creative methodologies can be adapted, shared and developed across different contexts.

The experience in Struga also contributes to ITD’s broader interest in approaches that place participation, experimentation and creativity at the heart of learning. For ITD, that mindset has value far beyond the world of business. It is a way of thinking that can help learners, educators and creative practitioners move from ideas to action — and from action to meaningful change.
