Gorazd is one of Slovenia’s leading professionals in the fields of public administration, administrative law and administrative procedure. His academic and theoretical background is a strong one, having been a lecturer and university professor for almost 40 years. He has been head of the Department of Administrative Law at the Faculty of Law in Ljubljana, director of the Institute of Public Law, head of the team in charge of reforming the Slovenian public administration system, and state secretary at the Ministry of the Interior. He is currently working as a consultant in the field of administrative law, engaged in national projects and projects supported by European institutions.

Dr Trpin, who is chairman of the Expert Council at the Institute for Transmedia Design, is responsible for keeping a close eye and reporting on European directives and trends.
